I could never thank Jacklyn enough for the services she provided for me. This is the second time I received a DUI the first one was nine years prior so I missed the limitation period by a year. I was not driving at the time and sleeping in my car but California law is key’s in the car equals DUI. I was terrified; this would have ruined the career that I had worked so hard for and my life. I was ready to give up and just come clean to my employer and face the consequences which would have resulted in me losing my job. Days before my court date, I met with Jacklyn. When I arrived to my appointment that Friday right away Jacklyn was warm, friendly, welcoming, and very easy to talk to it did not feel like business but care and concern and she really listened which was huge for me. She listed all the possibilities which I had no idea existed because I assumed the worse, she reassured me that she was going to fight. She was so knowledgeable and comforting for being someone I just met I felt safe and I believed her. It was a seven month process and during that time she kept me well informed through mail and email, sent me copies of everything that she received. Fast forward seven months later and I get a phone call from Jacklyn letting me know that they had dropped the charges, I burst into tears of relief and gratitude I must have said thank you a hundred times on the phone. I probably sounded like a babbling fool but I could not put into words how grateful I was. Another month passed by and I received a letter from the DMV stating “Order to set aside or reinstatement” I was getting my license back! Shortly after I heard from Jacklyn confirming the DMV notice and that everything was finally over. I could never thank Jacklyn enough for what she has done for me, this huge weight was taken off my shoulders and I could relax again. She was professional, efficient and great to work with I was never in the dark about what was going on and always kept up to date.
